Synopsis
Not everyone falls in love with the letters of an alphabet. But Narayana Bhattathiri has been in love with each and every letter in the Malayalam alphabet for more than 40 years. With no teacher to guide him, he explored Arabic and Chinese calligraphy and applied these ancient techniques to the Malayalam script — elevating its visual aesthetics and blending meaning seamlessly into the visual form.
